Enrichment
Help, FAQ, and glossary
- Paste freely formatted text containing email addresses, add source files, or combine both.
- Use UTF-8 TXT or CSV files, or ZIP archives containing TXT and CSV files. CSV input is scanned for email addresses; it does not require a specific column layout.
- Click the upload area or use Enter/Space to choose files. Drag-and-drop also works. Both methods add to the existing list; Remove excludes a file before submission.
- Choose the email sort order and whether to split the result CSV, then keep the suggested two-word Name or enter your own name of up to 120 characters.
- Select Start processing. The item page shows queue status, processing progress and any error, then displays results and download links when processing completes.
At least one non-empty text or file source is required. ZIP archives may contain at most 1,000 entries. Expanded ZIP content is limited to 1 GiB or your storage maximum, whichever is smaller. Password-protected, invalid and unsupported input is rejected.
Email addresses are extracted, normalized to lowercase and deduplicated across all sources. Each unique email's full domain is matched against available company website domains.
A matched email can produce multiple result rows when more than one company matches. An unmatched email still appears in the result with empty company fields. Company coverage depends on the available company data; a missing match does not mean the email address is invalid.
The result table and CSV include Email, PDL ID, Company name, Company domain, Website, Country, Region, Locality, Industry, LinkedIn URL, Founded and Size. Some company fields may be empty.
Enrichment does not verify mailbox existence or email deliverability. Exceeding the unique-email or result-row limit fails the run rather than presenting a truncated result as complete.
Sort emails by domain A-Z, then by local part A-Z is initially checked. It orders downloads and the initial result table by full email domain, then the part before the at sign. When unchecked, results are ordered by the complete email address A-Z. Company rows for the same email stay together in either mode.
Download TXT contains the distinct result email addresses. Download CSV contains the full company result rows with a header. Download all (ZIP) contains the TXT and all CSV files.
Split result CSV into Excel-sized files is initially unchecked. Leave it unchecked for one complete results.csv. Large single files may exceed spreadsheet row limits.
When checked, each CSV contains at most 1,000,000 data rows plus a header. The ZIP includes every part, named results-part-0001.csv, results-part-0002.csv, and so on. Use the ZIP to obtain all parts.
Downloads contain the complete result, regardless of table pagination, sorting or filters. Re-running saved inputs preserves the original CSV splitting and email order choices. Older items retain the CSV layout captured by their earlier implementation.
Open Your limits below Name to see configured maximums for current access, not remaining balances. Pasted text is measured in UTF-8 bytes, which can exceed the number of visible characters. The upload size applies to each file, while the file-count limit applies to the combined upload.
Unique emails and result rows are separate limits because one email can match multiple companies. Retained storage, concurrent processing and request-window quotas are shared across Tools for your account. Storage includes saved input, structured results and generated exports.
Each accepted item captures its access limits. Input retention starts at receipt, result-table retention starts at completion, and download retention starts when each export is created. A retained download can remain available after the table expires. An expired download can be recreated only while its underlying result is retained.
Use View history to reopen your items. On an item page, Saved inputs lets you select retained sources and add a small amount of text before Run again. A rerun creates a separate item and uses current access and quotas. Completed or failed items can be renamed or deleted; active items must finish before deletion or rerun.
- Total email occurrences
- Every extracted email occurrence before repeated addresses are removed.
- Unique emails
- Distinct normalized email addresses found across all sources.
- Matched emails
- Unique emails with at least one accepted company match.
- Unmatched emails
- Unique emails without a company match; these still produce rows with empty company fields.
- Company matches
- Accepted email/company pairs. One email can contribute several matches.
- Result rows
- Company matches plus one row for each unmatched email.
- PDL ID
- The company identifier stored with the company record.
- Why can TXT and CSV row counts differ?
- TXT lists distinct emails; CSV includes a row for every company match and every unmatched email.
- Can I change the generated Name?
- Yes. Edit it before starting or rename the item later. Its stable URL does not change.
- Does splitting change matching or the result limit?
- No. It changes CSV packaging only. Every CSV part repeats the header.
